To top it all off, at least eight million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean every single year, which is equal to a garbage truck per minute. According to recent studies plastic pollutes the air, water and entire food chain, which poses a major threat to human health, wildlife and the planet.

We founded WearWyse to set an example for sustainability and to highlight the importance of behavioral change towards a more sustainable future. Why should we keep using single use plastic and resources if there is a chance to use recyclable materials instead?

That’s why all our bikinis are made of ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated and therefore sustainable nylon yarn. ECONYL® is a product that is made from waste such as recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets that have been recovered from our oceans. ECONYL® regenerated nylon is infinitely recyclable and unleashes infinite possibilities for both, producers and consumers.
